TaskEngine for editors
Since versions 13.1.0/12.7.0, you create and edit metadata with the WorkflowManager of the AI Suite. The WorkflowManager creates tasks for this, which you review and save in the TaskEngine. Since versions 13.5.0/12.11.0, the metadata results are grouped.
In the following section, we explain how you can validate your generated metadata using the TaskEngine.
Processing of Tasks
If you create metadata or translations via our shared server (https://api.autodudes.de) with the WorkflowManager, the processing time depends on the tasks that are currently being generated. The required time can vary depending on how much metadata you want to create and what needs to be generated beforehand. If you want to use your own resources, our SaaS solution is just right for you.
1. Where can I find the function?
You can access the TaskEngine as follows:
- Open the backend module “AI Suite”
- Switch to the “TaskEngine” area
- Select the desired type of metadata from the dropdown list
Besides the metadata types, the dropdown list also contains the filter “File metadata translation”. There you review and save the translations you started via the WorkflowManager for file metadata.

The TaskEngine collects the tasks from the WorkflowManager. From left to right, the overall statistics show all tasks, the finished, the pending and the failed ones.
2. Structure of the validation mask
Basically, each TaskEngine task can have three different states:
- pending (still waiting for execution)
- finished (successfully executed, after expanding it you can review the results)
- task-error (an error occurred during the execution of the background task)
If a TaskEngine task has been executed successfully, the results can be validated and saved. After saving, the TaskEngine task is removed from the list. The structure of the validation masks is nearly identical for all metadata. For file references and files, the respective image is additionally displayed as a preview.
If a task has the status task-error, you can remove it from the list with the delete icon. Failed tasks can also be restarted via CLI with the command ai-suite:retry-tasks, see CLI Commands.

Expanded, the detailed statistics show the same per area: pages, file references, file metadata and their translations, each with a table by field.

In the task list we filter by the kind of task, refresh the list or delete all visible tasks. The tasks are grouped by field, here the search engine title.
“Click and Save”
Since versions 13.3.0/12.9.0, you can activate the function “Click and Save” in the TaskEngine. It lets you save metadata directly with a click on the desired result.

With “Click and Save”, a single click on a suggestion is enough to save it.

We open a task, choose one of the suggestions and save it. The task disappears from the list, and we continue with the next one.
