Translation of entire pages (including content and metadata)

Since versions 13.6.0/12.12.0, you can translate entire pages including content and metadata with the AI Suite.

1. Where can I find the function?

  1. Switch to the Page module
  2. Select the page whose content you want to translate
  3. (Select “Language Comparison” in the upper dropdown of the navigation)
  4. (Select “All Languages” in the lower dropdown of the navigation)
  5. Click “Translate whole page with AI”

Further entry points:

  • The “Translate whole page with AI” button is also available in the “Records” module.
  • In the page tree, you find the entry “Translate whole page with AI” in the context menu of the page under “AI Suite”.
  • Translate the whole page: Translate whole page with AI

    The “Translate whole page with AI” button is located at the top of the Page module.

2. The translation process

  1. In the window that opens, select the source language, the target language and the desired AI model
  2. A summary of the content to be translated then appears
  3. Click “Next” to start the translation process

    3. Validate the result

    1. Navigate back to the page view of the translated page
    2. If you do not see the translation directly, select “Language Comparison” in the upper dropdown
    3. Then select “All Languages” in the dropdown below
    4. The completely translated page is shown in the column of the target language

    Instead of steps 2 to 4, you can also select the layout view in the target language.

    • Check the translated page: Display mode

      In the language comparison with all languages, the English page with all content appears on the right. It stays deactivated until we have checked it.
