Content gap (rankings)
The content gap analysis starts from the rankings your domain already has. It looks for keywords the audited page already appears for but stands weakly on, and rates how well the page content covers those keywords. The goal is not new ground, but lifting existing, unused visibility.
When no data comes back
There are three messages that are not errors:
- No weakly performing rankings were found. The page is then already making good use of its visibility.
- There is no ranking data for the domain yet. It is probably new or not indexed.
- The domain ranks, but this particular page does not yet. Then there is nothing to lift. For new content, the question analysis or the topic cluster analysis help instead.
