Competitors (SEO)

This analysis shows who competes with you for the same search queries in the chosen search market, and which keywords the competitors serve and you do not. A competitor analysis costs 3 credits.

1. Top competitors

The first block lists the strongest competitors. For each domain you see the shared keywords, the number of top-10 rankings and the estimated traffic per month. That shows you who you are actually up against in terms of content. This does not always match the competitors you know.

  • Show larger version Top-Wettbewerber

The result lists the top competitors of the domain with their rankings. Below, the keyword gap shows which keywords a competitor ranks for and your own page does not.

2. Keyword gap

The second block presents the keyword gap against the closest competitor. For each keyword you see their position, the search volume, the difficulty (0 to 100, how hard the jump into the organic top 10 is, see SEO & performance) and how well your page covers the topic.

  • Show larger version Keyword-Gap

For each keyword, the keyword gap shows the competitor’s position, the search volume and whether your own page already has content on it.

3. Closing gaps

As with the topic cluster analysis you can derive content from this directly, either as a new topic section on the audited page or, through “Propose as page tree”, as a suggestion for new subpages.
